4x4 vs. 2-Wheel Drive Frame ?'s

Is the frame in the front the same for the 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive models? I know that the crossmember to hold the suspension is different on a 2 wheel drive, but was wondering about the basic frame. I am thinking about some things, but it may not be practical. Thanks for your help.

Yes the basic frame is the same just different holes/rivets installed. I took a 4X4 blazer and slapped a 2wd front crossmember under it. That should tell you. Just had to drill a few more holes for crossmember, and space the idler arm out from frame a bit.

Thanks Reumster. That gives me another option to go. Any LED's for the Burbs yet, or will the truck ones work. I would like to do this mod sometime soon if available.

Yes the fleet side inserts work with Subs, you just need a peice of foam to make up for the extra room of the sub lense. Simple

Could you elaborate on the foam idea?
