Exhaust manifolds - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just bought a Hooker headers manifold back duel exhaust kit for my 71 c10 The kit states it will not work with manifolds that exit straight down. Mine look like they exit on a 45 degree angle, should I assume they used two different manifolds? Its a stock 307cubic inch monster. My second question is any one out there using this kit? Thanks Mark.

Straight dumps are on the 4x4's....angled dumps are on the 2wd trucks.
