Spark Plugs and Wires Questions

What's a good spark plug and wire to run on a stout 327 with a mallory Unilite ignition system? I'm looking to place an order from Jegs and I like the Jegs 8.5 MM ultra power wires. They seem like a good wire and are a decent price. How about plugs? I used to have pretty good luck with the Champion Truck plugs, but they don't seem to make them anymore. What's an excellent plug now a days? Thanks

Oh, and what wires are better for neatness/ease of use. The over valve cover or under header? I should remember all this, but I haven't messed with my truck in a long time. It's time to dust her off and get her tip top shape again. Thanks.

IMO, on older vehicles, unless you're over 400 HP, as long as it fits and lights the fire, it's just fine. Your local NAPA should have the plug that fits.

How about the wires? Under header or over valve cover? Also do I need a special coil wire for the mallory big square coil?

Re: Spark Plugs and Wires Questions

I'd go over VC. Less chance of melting them.
