700R4 question with pic....
Just to make sure...I did ask the other day but just wanted to make sure.
I just need to know if there is an o ring or Gasket under that screw for sure. That is where my leak is coming from. Thanks and no that is not my tranny lol

Yes, there is a squared off oring under the plastic 'sleeve' on the TV cable. It seals the hole where the tv cable goes through, not the bolt.

Dave, just ask for the TV detent cable housing O-ring and go to chevy the'll have the IPC and then if he still dosen't understand you can point it out to him

The seal for the TV cable is the same design as the one for the dipstick, it's a rubber sleeve with a washer built in the top of it that you put in the case.

I bought a new TV cable a few weeks ago and it came with the rubber seal.

Whoo hooo...I think I have one waiting at the parts store! You all have been a great help.
He says it looks more like a Top Hat than an o ring does that sound about right....only .69 too!! hehe
