Bought me another Old Chevy!

Well it is mine and I get to pick it up at the end of the month as the current owner is out of town working..

Not much to look at right now but hereit is.. Has a 77 camaro front section grafted in already and a 10 bolt in the rear. Small block , p/s, pb, automatic.

A great start to my dream truck.. Love this year and my plans are to have it in a satin black primer and it laying frame by the end of summer... Believe it or not it is driveable and I get all the parts to put it back together.. Are ya diggin the rear slider....LOL

Re: Bought me another Old Chevy!

I sure wish our women understood the need for more old trucks. They don't see the analogy of comparing them to their shoes and clothes.
"Happiness is towing a new car home" - I love that ad! I don't remember the last time I bought a vehicle that made it home under it's own power.

Way to go, i definetly dig the sliding glass back window. she definetly looks to be in good shape though for her age, like a fine wine.

Re: Bought me another Old Chevy!

I know to some people it looks unfinished and you can't really do it if you have strict fender laws but any stepside bed looks great with out the rear fenders on jus flat bed sides. It gives it the old hot rod rat look.

Re: Bought me another Old Chevy!

Well I do have th efenders in the rear.. I seen a few trucks on here that was laying frame and man that has caught my eye... I want the boards on the pavement... I might try it with and without the fenders but I think the fat front fenders to the running boards to the rear fenders is going to be the look,,, There is nothing like that around here... Not yet....

I gave a whopping $1200 for her... wiht the clip, v-8 and all already done...
