Leaf spring question
When did they put leaf springs on 2wd C-10 1/2 ton trucks?
I ask because my '67 (?) has them, but I don't see any mention of leaf spring components in my parts catalogs for a 2wd '67. If they didn't have leafs, can someone recommend how I find out what this frame is really for?

Re: Leaf spring question
They were optional all years. Most Chevys are coil and most GMCs are leaf, but examples abound of both. I have a '69 C/10 shorty with leaf springs.

Re: Leaf spring question
My 3/4 ton 71 had a stack of 6-7 leaves when I bought it, rode like a lumbercart I took it to Boise Spring and they took 4-5 of them out and dearched the remainders to make her sit level with the front end, she rides alot better now too.
