I finally got a good day when I had time to look this guy up,and was fortunate enough to catch him at home.Believe it or not this is not a "junk yard" This is essentially his personal collection ,but he does sell parts . He has about 100 or so,mostly 67-72,a few later years.If you need any parts of any kind PM me and I'll give you his contact info and location. i don't want to broadcast it on the net without his say so. In the first pic,the GMC to the left is a 1 ton wrecker (500 Holmes),factory big block,factory A/C-would make a nice project for somebody. Some of the trucks look like you could get in and drive off.

That is awsome. Where is that? Close to Simpsonville I hope. I'm in Liberty just on the other side of Greenville. I would love to check it out some time.

Sure does. I got to go here and see for my self. It looks to be a later model though, hard to say with this shot.

there is a 4 door, but it isn't a 67 - 72, that's a 73 - 91 crew cab.

That is very close to the place that goes by the name "classic auto salvage" on the 385 by-pass. I will definitely get back to you when I can get some time to come up there to look around. Just out of curiosity, did you happen to see any aluminum (not black) framed rear sliding windows? Cnut

I didn't really notice any sliders,but then I wasn't looking for them either so that doesn't mean they weren't there. I didn't really look over the Blazers either,but he has several of them and several Suburbans too.The first time I was there was about a year and a half ago,to looka t a bed for somebody else. I asked him about cabs then,and he said even in South Carolina you're not likely to find a completely rust free cab as they almost always need rockers and some cab corner work.Pine needles are bad around here-they get in the cowl and cause rust there. I think he quoted a price then for a fairly nice cab at around $400 and he would remove it . Some body on the parts forum was asking about chrome vent windows-he has them for $25 per side. I saw a pair of pretty decent plastic door panels with the woodgrain insert that needed repainted-$40 for the pair

there's an aluminum framed slider in the aqua truck in the center of the first pic
