Radiator 68 Chevy C50 V8 327

Friends,

My radiator is gone and patches aren't holding up. When calling to Junk yards, what radiators will work for this? I'm guessing Chevy shared radiators with other C series trucks. Can anyone confirm this?

My C50 has a V8 327 without A/C
Radiator Dimensions are 32"wide X 26 1/2" High X 2 1/2" thick.

Nothing special about this other than that. I have the mounting brackets from the old one

Re: Radiator 68 Chevy C50 V8 327

The radiator in my '67 C50 was WAYY bigger than any pickup radiator. Any 67 - 72 Chevy C40-C60 or GMC 4500 - 6500 should work. Radiators from later (or earlier) year medium duty trucks may even be the same.

Re: Radiator 68 Chevy C50 V8 327

Does anyone have the dimensions of a GMC 4500-6500 radiator to see how close it would fit? The radiator for the C50 is (core only) 26" wide x 26" tall x 2" thick. If you include the reservoirs on the side of the radiator it is 32" wide

If the tanks are still good, the radiator can be recored by any radiator repair shop, if there is one in your area.

Recore=$400 and this truck isn't in a state where it's worth spending that king of money. Just used for an occasional haul to dump
