Finally found a short Cheyenne 4/4

I have been hunting one for years. My friend at the truckfarm, here in east Tennessee found it for me. It is a black on black fleetside, Cheyenne 10. Buddy buckets, tilt column, PS, PDB, a/c, with a great bed and all the trim. It's all there except motor, but was 350. It still has trans, transfer case and original 44s in great shape. Nice wheels, tires, exhaust with flowmasters. My friend took pictures when we dropped it at his place. He will store it till my garage is cleaned out. Check it out at my friends flickr site; tnchev.com

Buddy Buckets are not correct for a Cheyenne but it sounds like a nice truck. Pictures?

Tim, They are nice 67-68 buckets, with decent covers. I like them better than the high backs. I even found a 1972 quarter under the carpet. cha-ching.

Just went and looked at the pictures. It has a late model transfercase shifter. Do you have the vin number? The only reason I ask if you want to build a true Cheyenne 4x4 just make sure it is one not knocking the truck at all. From the pictures looks like a good start. Tim

That would be correct for a 4x4. But it does look like a late model transfer case shifter but by no means am I a 4x4 expert maybe one of the guys on the board will look and give more info. If I can help you with anything give me a holler! Tim

Tim, The shifter and bezel seem to be the only updates, it looks clean, I like it. My friend has several 4/4s and tells me he has the original parts, if that's the way I want to go. Thanks

That looks like a nice start, I'd love to have one like that.

Very nice truck. Looks like a good start - I just hope you have a big bank account. It will be worth it, though.
