9-16s
is anyone running 9-16s and if so how much lift are you running, do you have any pics of them? I was thinking about a set of 9-16 power kings but i dont want my truck to sit too high.

Re: 9-16s
Heres a pic of my ole 69 longstep with 9.00x16 Power King Super Traction directionals. The truck has a 4" lift and no clearance problems at all, but my lift is one of the first Rancho lifts for these trucks and its very! stiff. Some of todays flexy springs may have issues with fender clearance.

Re: 9-16s
You know, I am no a fan of lwb trucks(no offence to anyone, but I just like the shortys better), but I think that truck in pic looks super BLAZERMAN. Just thought you would like to know one of the short bed fans took a double take to look at the long bed step side you have; makes me change my mind and want to get one myself.

Re: 9-16s
I didn`t know anyone still made 9.00s.Are they radials? They`d be fine with a 4" lift.I used to run CO-OP Grip Spurs, which where just Gateway Mudders.

I love the tall skinny tires. We use to call them pizza cutters (I still do), Anyone else use this term?

Re: 9-16s
Yeah,I read a guy calling them cookie cutters on here awhile back.Kinda garbled it up some, huh?
I like that look, too. That`s the trucks that got me going on them when I was young.Back then, you`d see a truck and something was different. Then, you saw it was a 4wd and thought,"WOW cool!"

Re: 9-16s
Are they radials?I like the traditional mud grip, like Goodyear or Armstrong Extra Tractions.

Re: 9-16s
good looking tires! That's what should be on a 4X4!! I'm running 33X10.5's. they're OK, but too wobbly with a heavy load... but those are the look from growing up on all the cool 4X4's!!
