Anybody tried the newer style Impala rear brakes??

I'm talking about the 2000's style? Didn't know if they would work or not.

Re: Anybody tried the newer style Impala rear brakes??

The rotors come off the hubs but from looking at what else they fit I think that they don't have a five on five bolt pattern.
Here is an Ebay link to a GM bot pattern guide. According to it the 2K Impalas have a 115 mm bolt pattern while the five on five equals 127 mm.

Handy guide to save.

I'd take a look at rotors off the front or rear of a 77 Cad Eldorado .
As they are five on five and not real spendy. Being as they are two different part numbers they may have a different offset and or center hole diameter.
A lot of the guys doing rear disk conversions use the rear caliper from those year Eldo's to get the park brake setup. Brackets are readily available for the 4x4 brigade and may fit the two wheel drive housing also.
