Rotor Width.

I have a 80' Barebones C10 with a I6 and 3 on the tree. The only real heavy duty option I have is the radiator. I looked on the card in the glovebox that tells all the options and there is nothing about the heavy duty rotors in there.

I measured the rotors and they seem to be a bit more than 1".

The reason for this is because im ordering my drop spindles ASAP, im guessing I still have 1" rotors since its a barebones C10, not some HD C30 or 20.

The code you are looking for starts with a j. It would be like JB1 or JB3. I know JB5 is heavy duty brakes. What code do you have similar to those.

Without knowing the code, I would guess you have the 11x1" rotors.

If you can't find the codes, how many leafs you got in the back?
BTW, there is a 1/4" difference between the 2, so it shouldn't be a "little" over 1".

Chris:

How is the number of rear leafs (leaves?) related? I have the heavy duty rear springs according to the sticker in the glove compartment (4+overload) but not the heavy duty front brakes.

Heavy duty springs should have 7 leafs + overload, and they were always paired with HD brakes

Now I am really confused. I have 4 leafs plus the overload, and I thought my options sticker showed heavy duty rear suspension. I assumed I did have the heavy duty suspension because the two trucks that Woodman from Chevytalk has ('84 and '87 C10s) both have 3+1, and they both sit a little lower than mine.

I also don't have the heavy duty front brakes. I have the little rotors.

How many leafs am I supposed to have?
