i could get it for $2000. But also he said it gets around 10-11mpg. any way i could get better mpg out of it?

Yes. With the right set up it should get 15 mph or better. First you would need to see what rear end ratio it has. You probably would need to change to higher gears or change the trans to an o-drive.Then some good tuning should bring it right up. That seems like a good buy.

appears to b issues in the engine compartment //air doesnt work maybe compressor and mounts missing might have something to do with that then theres the looped heater hose so theres no heat either and the way that alt is sitting on the wrong side says there mount and use issues on that too //maybe it's driveable but not very far from the looks of it// still a pretty good price if in fact theres no rust but i'd b checking real close for bondo in the normal places and b rerady to put at least another thousand or so in order to make it roadworthy
