Thanks lilred66, do you have any reccomendations for removing wax/dirt for the area so the tape will stick, but also won't damage the paint?

OK I blasted the emblems, laid down three coats of primer and three coats of white gloss. Does anyone have any tricks for taping off the "6" to get the red laid down? Mind you the whole "6" is white including the raised sides.

Here is how they look now....
