Question master cylinder dilema

So here's the deal... I have a non-stock master cylinder with a casting number of 29969. I can't seem to find this number anywhere to replace it. I talked to a local Chevy dealer and there is no record of that p/n. An internet search suggests it may be from a 67-76 corvette possibly. Anybody familiar with this p/n?
