Biggest wheel and tire for a 69 LWB - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys, my first post. Bought a rough 69 LWB and was wanting some wheel and tire advice.
Looking for the biggest wheel and tire combo with out frame/ bed mods.

Truck will be lowered 3" front and 5 " rear.

Going for a hot rod look so bigs and littles are fine.

Must be 6 lug. Drum or Disc if that will help.

Currently I have a 31" x 10.5" tire on my '69, lowered 3". Would be a bit tall for a 5" droped truck, but the 265/70s I had while building and had 5" drop springs in back was about perfect diameter,but was pushing the width

im running a 28x10.50 slick with a 15x10 wheel with 4" of backspacing. has 5 lug axles in it but the rearends still the same width. Think the backs lowered 4 inches. Chris.
