i was just wondering if any one knew how many 72 3/4 ton4x4 custom deluxe camper specials were made in 1972.
just wondering if any one knew where i might find info on how many were built with my options

Try the search option at the top of the page and search for something like (production numbers).
You might also try searching Custom Campers.
When I did this I found some very intresting reading.
The archive from this board is filled with valuable information and many times overlooked.
A couple of people on the board have some valuable production information on these trucks GMC Paul is one of the preferred vendors and a wealth of information. Check out his awesome web-site from the main page.http://67-72chevytrucks.com
Your truck appears to be a rare model, The camper specials may just be badges but some of the other options may make it even more rare.
The Camper Specials tended to be more loaded with options than others due to the recreational aspect of the vehicle.

Campewr special is nothing more than HD springs, shocks and an anti sway bar.
Custom delux is a lower trim model.
3/4 4X4 trucks seem kinda hard to find though.
