The Toybox pictures...finally
I finally got pictures of my 86. We spent 9 hours on it this Sunday to drop it and put my 12 bolt in. Sorry in advance for some of the pictures. I took a few after sundown and with the passenger front tire flat and driver side almost flat. So in those pictures the truck sits a little extra low and a little crooked. But, do not fear... I took some slightly better ones today. All that is left to do is hooking up brakes, getting some tires that are not huge, shocks, & some other little things.
This truck started out as a V6 work truck. It was used for the Forest service and was the Mint Green color. After its life in the Forest Service it went to NE and was worked some more. It now has a 350, soon to will get an 2002 5.7 Vortec motor. And is obviously getting farther from a work truck every modification I do. Last edited by Driveway Dreams; 03-18-2009 at 09:59 AM. |

Thank you!
The black truck there is my buddies 78 LWB that he just picked up for $2,000 it has a 3/5 drop. Its not the monster that it looks like in the pics. His wife called it "The Ugly" and that stuck. Last edited by Driveway Dreams; 03-17-2009 at 11:24 PM. |

Thanks! I just noticed that the blue tape on my door stands out alot. I will say that it is there to keep my wife's Jeep door from marking up my door (and hers). My 3 year old likes to get herself in.

Re: The Toybox pictures...finally
It is 6/8 drop. I have 235/75/15 tires on it right now so those are not helping get it low. But it will be better when I can get the new smaller ones. My 3 year old told me she likes it better because she can just walk into it. Now isnt that just about perfect?
