parking light help
hey guys i've been working on wiring up my new parking lamps and ive noticed that they only come on when the switch is halfway pulled out is this correct? if so is there anyway i can make them stay on when the head lights are on too?

yes that is correct.
you can tie together two wires to have them come on with the headlights also..... from your name I assume you have a '60? I'm not sure on a '60 though. I will look for a link............ do you have a wiring diagram? tie your taillight wire to your park light wire. I did ours up close to the headlight switch. also after this mod was done I was able to use a 73-up headlight switch. Just make sure you pick the right wire or your going to have your hood lights come on everytime you step on the brakes.

And make doubly sure you have good grounds on all the lights; chasing bad connections is one of the most frustrating parts of owning old iron!
Kizer, that actually happened to me on my 63 and a bad ground was the fault!
