Now I like everything but the interior, and the Camaro front clip. I just have never understood why some guys feel the need to swap a front clip onto a truck that already has a independent suspension with a lot of aftermarket upgrades available maybe it's just me.....

Re: Sweet rocker draggin 64 Burb for sale..

I agree it is alot easier to lower these than I originally thought a couple years ago... I too thought the way to go was the camaro subframe, that is the best way to lower a 5-9, then I found this site, and have been further educated on the ease of lowering these trucks.
cpp spindles and springs , and a 73-87 crossmember for a mild drop, and then on the ground with a dropmember, or a 3'Z, are just some of the options...

That interior looks questionable to me.....seats, and wheel wells.

Re: Sweet rocker draggin 64 Burb for sale..

Too shiny, and the mexi-blanket thing doesn't fit the overall style of the truck.

Probably pretty quick with that engine, though it's not my style either.

Like the color though. Still a very nicely finished ride.

Re: Sweet rocker draggin 64 Burb for sale..

i got a email on the truck

Hey Dave this truck was purchased three years ago and to tell the truth with 150 cars in the collection and the purchase of new hot rods sometimes you have to pick and choose. This is an awesome truck it has a couple of paint bubbles but nothing major and there is a dent in the rear pass. wheel lip. The reason there are blankets over the seats is because the interior doesn't match just needs to be completed. This truck is a driver and has 4 bags on every corner I am not sure how high it comes up there are 2 big 4 gallon tanks with a 450 compressor w/ ride pro controls it will sit on the frame with all air out. It has all floor pans welded in cuz the old ones were wood from the factory. It has a tune port 350 motor w/ 308 gears and gets roughly 22 miles to the gallon and has aftermarket a/c. This burb gets the looks I am asking $24,450.00. Give me a shout my name is John

wow what an awesome price!!!!

Re: Sweet rocker draggin 64 Burb for sale..

i figured it would be around 8 grand with a dent and some paint bubbling and the interior sounds like it really isnt done with blankets to cover it also the engine looks totally stock and the compressor is way to small for 8 gallons of air just my opinion i would want one unpainted so i can paint it myself

For what it is - and from a SoCal (usually over-priced) perspective:

About 50% too high.

Mac.

Wow that is a nice looking Burb. I'm not sure about the steering wheel color either. Looks like it was something they picked off the floor out of a pile.

Yes the rear of the burbs and panels were rubber clad wood from a little behind the B pillar back.
