the answer to clear taillights?
I saw this auction on ebay. The taillight is 2 pieces, the clear lens piece looks like it could be used over the factory taillight assembly if I'm not mistaken.

looks like typical altezza tail lights to me?
Either way, I prefere strait red. They just look so smooth....
