Voltmeter Hook Up

In my 69 I have a aftermaket voltmeter that is not hooked up to anything.
Does anyone know what the hook up is. I assume a wire goes from the meter to somehwere. It has HEI ignition to a 307 motor
Apprviate any help here
Thanks

Re: Voltmeter Hook Up

it should have a wire that goes to the ignition side that will read votes when the switch is on. and a positive and ground for the light.

Re: Voltmeter Hook Up

Run a + wire to key on, and ground.
The terminals should be marked + & - on the gauge.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Unhappy Re: Voltmeter Hook Up

On the back of the meter there are 3 studs with nuts on them.
No markings of + or - anywhere. There is a light bulb socket top center.
The studs on the left and right appear to be just for the bracket holding the meter into the chrome housing, but not sure
Stll stumped on this one.

Re: Voltmeter Hook Up

Well I went to the local auto zone and looked at a new one and found that one wire goes to ground and one to the fuse panel
