Tach Question

I just got back from the swap meet with my i hope sweet find.. hidden under a regular face plate was a tach for 67-72. grabbed the dash offerd 10 bucks and i was out of there......the part # is 6468225(4)or(a) what is this for?

Not sure, can you post a pic? I don't think it is a v-8 or a diesel tach. Sometimes you can still read on back of the tach head if it is for a 6 or an 8.

i looked on the back and its not there.. well I cant read it anyway.ok took it apart. the part # on the inside is 6468265

i still have to get a transfer decal so I can get the lines on the gauge and I need a new printed circuit board

It looks like a correct tach. Good score on that one!
I would think there are some board vendors that carry the pieces you need to make it the way you want.

Looks like all you need is a lens with tach. that is where the numbers are.

Before you buy parts, make sure the tach actually works--if it doesn't, it often costs more then it's worth to fix it.
