gmc 2 wheel swb leaf spring rear to 4x4

can anyone tell me if i can bolt on front spring purches from a 72 4x4 to make it look factory

I have not done this conversion. however I did read this posted in another thread

"I don't know anything about the DIY kit but I think a few members here have installed it so I will let them chim in. I can tell you that the 2wd frame rail has a dimple on the drivers side front where the shackle would mount, this will need to be cut out and boxed in some how" (desertrat)

other wise I am restoring a 1/2 ton 4x4 and have a 3/4 ton 2 wheel out on the lawn let me know if I can measure somthing or take pics for you.
