Re: american racing torqlite wheels pics

Is this the wheel you are talking about? I bought a set for our 67 and got the wrong backspacing. I already had tires mounted on 2 wheels before I discovered the problem. I ordered 4.5 inch backspacing which was too much for the front. It was perfect for the back. I got them from Jeg's for 135.00 plus shipping.

Re: american racing torqlite wheels pics

I ended up sending 2 wheels back and ordering different wheels. The ones I wanted to order were the 15x7 with 4 inch backspacing but those are only made on a limited basis and I could not find any when I need wheels. I still have 2 of the 15x8 sitting in boxes.

Re: american racing torqlite wheels pics

ok so baisicallly what i understand is that if you were to get that style, get 8's in the back with 4.5'' backspacing, and 7's for the front with 4'' backspacing correct?

Re: american racing torqlite wheels pics

That is what would have worked on my truck. I converted it to disc up front with componets from ECE. It may be different for your truck.

Re: american racing torqlite wheels pics

Never got them installed on the truck. Would not fit on the front and still had 6 lug axles out back at the time. I had them sitting on the front with no lugnuts but never took any pics, was too mad at the fact that they would not work.
