hey guys, probably a simple question... but, anything to say away from when dropping and giving the truck a decent amount of power?

should be around 500+hp, and I was going to do a flip kit in the back... just wondering if it's a good choice?... not really worried about hooking, more or less just wheel hop in crap like that.. thanks.

I know traction bars will help with wheel hop, but mounting the springs under the axle should make wheel hop less than with the springs over the axle.

do those work better than normal bars? they look pretty easy to make...

You will loose some suspension travel with the traction bars that mount to the u-bolt spring plate & frame, because they will cause the suspension to bind up some. The ones that just have the rubber bumpers that ride against the bottom of the leaf springs might allow the axle to wrap up some, but the ones that mount to the frame will stop axle wrap for sure. I'd run the ones that mount to the u-bolt spring plate & frame.

cool man.. thanks for the input, pretty much building it to drive to timmies, and do burnouts... so great suspension travel/geo isn't the much a a concern.
