Motor is finally done, spindles installed, now for the frame work
I finally got the truck back and the motor/tranny run awesome!! its got an xe268 comp cam, vortec heads, .030 over, new intake... and a 700r tranny with mild shift kit and stall. I traded a 91 burb with some electrical gremlins that I picked up for $600 to get the motor and tranny done. I installed some western chassis 3" drop spindles last weekend and the hangers/shackles will be installed when the frame gets shortened and c-notched.
It's going to get the frame done this week while I'm in Mexico getting married and as soon as I pick it up it's going to paint!! I cant wait to be able to drive this truck. I found a set of tan seats from a newer chevy that I might buy and get rid of these conversions seats if they are still around after my vacation. Thought I'd share a few pictures

Re: Motor is finally done, spindles installed, now for the frame work
Thanks guys
I think I'm going to keep it the original brown, after seeing jared78's truck with the same color it sold me! I decided to keep it, figure it doesnt cost me anything to hold on to it. Although it would be nice to use that money for some new wheels/tires and some interior upgrades.

Not nearly as cool as the lunati 0026 the blazers 454 has but it sounds pretty good.
