I'm preping the new cab, it's a 71, a/c, high hump. I will be doing a factory radio in it. I'm thinking that I might cut the radio grill out of my cab thats on it now and replacing this one. Was this a dealer install job with some kind of add on grill ?

That is interesting, becouse 2 of the 3 trucks I have had were radio delete trucks and had the 'normal' speaker holes up there.
The only thing I can think of is maybe some one installed a blazer dash and drilled holes?

Never saw that before Ugly looking. I am not going for a stocker look so I cut the orignial speaker hole out (did not look like that !) and filled it smooth. That does not look original to me.

Interesting comment about the blazer dash. The dash in this one is the original dash. The cab mount kit he gave me turned out to be for a Blazer. The cab is a truck cab as far as I can tell.
