What is This??

I found this under the suburban I am parting out and don't have a clue as to wht it is or does. It is attached to the axle housing and then has a lver system attached to what appears to be a regulator for the rear brakes. The line going in and out of it goes to the brakes.

Any clues?
Is it worth pulling?

Re: What is This??

Looks like an load-based rear brake proportioner like the mid-80's toyota trucks used. it adjusts the amount of rear brake baised based on the load in the vehicle.
