make it easy.. lowering a '72
Hey, i am fairly new here, I'd like a sportier and more agressive looking ride in my '72 LWB
I don't want to cut anything up at all, the truck only has 69k miles on it and is rust-free, so i want to keep everything reversible. With that in mind, I think my only option is a mild drop, spindles and springs in front, flip kit in rear? or perhaps just springs in rear? I would also like to still be able to haul things in the back, like furniture and such, as well as be able to tow a trailer. So.. like the topic states, what is my best bet for this? Looking for a 4 or 5" drop up front, 6 in rear, maybe more if it is easily done. Thanks!

Well if you want a bolt on kit that does not cut anything then I would look into ECE (Early Classic Ent) for drop spindles, springs up front and yes ether a flip kit that does not require welding on new spring perches or just DE-arched leaf springs. Talk to Stan and tell him Kevin from Winters told you to call and he can give you all the info you need to keep your truck reversible but cool in the mean time.

Kevin pretty well summed it up... contact ECE and they will hook you up. Stan is great to work with and definitely knows his stuff. Their prices will be a little higher than CPP but you will make up for it in customer service/satisfaction.
I wouldn't recommend going lower than 4.5/6 static drop on your truck. If you go lower than that I would just go with bags but since you're wanting to be able to remove the pieces stick with the static drop.
