Re: harness wire hiding

I am also interesting in seeinng what people have done, I also have a wiring harness kit sitting and ready for install. I did buy some of those rubber/stainless Umpco "P" clamps on linr. I planned on running the wiring harness, then wrapping it in black split wire loom and using the umpco p clamps to attach it to the frame.

What has everyone else done???

Re: harness wire hiding

Not much help here, but There's a corrogated plastic split loom which comes in black, colors, and a chrome version, and then the "fabric" style wraps...I think the main thing is to try to hide the wires as much as possible and use good connectors (heat shrink or similar)

Re: harness wire hiding

My truck was completely rewired from front to back by one of techs all the wires were wrapped, heat shrinked and he used alot of cable clamps. Look at the picts below hopefully it will give you an idea. These are some picts that I have in my computer in my office.

Re: harness wire hiding

classic industries sells rolls of the original style wire wrap - I used it this weekend - it's slick as hell.

Re: harness wire hiding

I like the plastic wire wrap that is split. It's easy to use and it looks nice.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
