Any way to tilt seat forward?

I have a 1969. Is there any way to maybe drill out the side of the hinge so my seat will tilt forward. It's a standard bench. It would be nice put stuff back there now that I got the tank out of the cab.

Re: Any way to tilt seat forward?

Blazer seat tracks have swivels at the front of the track, but the whole seat would tilt. Just a thought.

Re: Any way to tilt seat forward?

That's easy. On a bench seat, the back piece is bolted to the bottom base with two screws per side. All you have to do is remove one of the screws per side and it will fold forward, pivoting on the remaining screws.

Hey, Tx Firefighter why do we always make things so complicated?? Just remove a screw! How far is Springtown from Tomball?
