K&N filter
I finally put on the K&N filter the guy I knew gave me last fall. He said that it was for a 350 and that he wasn't going to use it anymore. I went to NAPA today and got the recharger kit, and cleaned it all up and put the new oil on it. He also gave me a chrome air cleaner assembly. What should I do with the small hose that runs to the carburetor and the exhaust pipe that runs to the damper assembly that is suppose to be for cold starts? I have these two things currently disconnected and haven't seen any drop in performance but that is sience this afternoon and it was a warm day.
What have you all done and/or recommend?

If your air cleaner is open and not the snorkle type from the factory, just leave the hose disconnected and plug the port on the carb. It should run fine. The stock filter on mine, always gets turned upside down for more air flow.
My 2 cents worth |

So how should I get rid of these. Both the vacum from the carb and the warm air intake.

I got rid of the warm air line, went to O Reillys and got a plug for the vaccum and plugged it. I still have a big of a suction sound going on though. What could this be?
