Dont know if it would work in your situation, but Slam bags dont "grow" in diameter when aired up, so that may help you get your desired O.D.
Past that, could you just cut off you bump stop mount & move it over a inch or so ??? |

i was interested in the RE-7, for the fact that they are non-ballooning, the ones i have on now are about 7". i know the stats on the RE-6 and i might have to go that route
