Mystery holes - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Okay, so on the top of both doors I have these strange marks. Are these from mirrors that used to be on here, or is this from the manufacturing process?

If that is a 69, as listed in your signature, those are the mounting holes for the west coast jr style mirrors.
