B.A.R. 67 SWB Better late than never.
This post is on my sixty seven short wide, starting posts a little late in the process. This is my senior year build. I have had the truck for about a year, and have been reading from this forum since just havent taken the time to sign up until now. When I started it was pretty much a rusty pile of crap. I bought it as a stepside, the bed was in bad shape so I decided to buy a new bed which happened to be a short wide, I will post pics but I think the farthest ones back are last week in the paint booth. I also have a few pics of the three eighty three I built for it First I have to figure out how to post pics, hopefully soon!

That sounds like a great project!!
We do need pictures. The easiest way for a newcomer to post pictures is to hit the "Go Advanced" button when you are replying or starting a new thread, this will give you a "Manage Attachements" button. Hit that and you can upload the pictures directly from your computer.

Re: B.A.R. 67 SWB Better late than never.
hey hey! I got it figured now! here are some pics! built 383 in shop class last year it is 450-475 hp, 2.02 iron heads, polished ported, 11 to 1 comp, comp stick, march pulley set, should run fairly hot! at least enough for me. th 350 tranny lookin for a 4-5 speed manuel if anyone has a lead. Spent about two weeks at the body shop to get it lookin like this, reds gettin sprayed in a week or two, just been doing carpet and interior stuff lately. Gotta order a few things back-up lights and such before a can put it on the road. should look pretty rat rod for awhile!

Nice looking ride!! Those tires look massive, but I am guessing it's just the angle since they aren't actually mounted to the truck.

Haha tires were a joke off my buddies truck! just the only pic i had when it was somewhat tore down!!! I will get some new pics up tommorow. No idea why the motor pic is tiny I will try it again. The axle is a dana sixty that I have been thinking about swapping... Although I have heard they dont fit with air bag suspension? the cummins was recently installed in my friends 95 bronco that was our last big project haha we are the gearheads of our school!!!

Re: B.A.R. 67 SWB Better late than never.
Got the bed secured. found a hood latch at a junk yard for five bucks so picked that up. hood latches good now. We are playin with the air bags a bit in one of the pics! should fit some decent sand tires under there! almost on the road. Still cant find a tailgate but im sure one will pop up somewhere. Carb needs adjusted and need to put the bumpers on then its good to go! oh and temp permit haha.

Re: B.A.R. 67 SWB Better late than never.
haha I will take one tommorow when we get the carb adjusted, we had it running with the old holley then I decided on a quickfuel and I haven't got it tuned yet. Still not sure if/when I wanna spray the red the flat black looks pretty mean, especially when we shine those wheels. They have about a year of miscellaneous dust built up on them! haha.

I'd ride with the flat black for a while...I love that look!
Sounds like a sweet 383 too!
