Question Which Tranny do I have? Dust Cover?

I got a dust cover from a friend but now see it doesnt fit. What type of tranny do I have. This has a number 375 in 2" letters on the tail piece that the drive shaft slides into. Is this a TH400?

I also cant get the shift linkage to fit....the bar is about 1.5" to short.. Im thinking of welding a piece to make it longer....to save $ over the lokar unit.

Re: Which Tranny do I have? Dust Cover?

Are you running an automatic or manual. Auto TH400 have the vac modulator on the pass side of the tranny. 350 is on the rear. Check your pan shape. If it looks like the "state of Texas" (similar in shape/design) its a 400. Also, some 400's have a plate riveted to the pass side of the tranny just in front of the governor that lists the info.
