Steering column parts?
Who makes ALL of the steering column parts? To start my 84 I put the key in, turn it all the way, then pull the rod on the left to start it. The PO screwed up the column, he broke the collar, the gear shift has to get pull past the wheel to put it in gear, he broke a piece on the top of the rod that goes from top to bottom on the left side of the column. Also, would it just be easier to get a new column? Mine has tilt, also has (cruise, blinker, and wipers all on one switch), and is auto on the column.

Re: Steering column parts?
I'd go for a new/used one easy to come by under $100 as low as $30 fairly easy to swap
not a bad a do it yourself at all Mark

Re: Steering column parts?
You can get aftermarket ones from like Flaming River. Other than that you may check in your local area for someone that rebuilds them. Talk to the salvage yards. Sometimes they will hold some for the people that rebuild them. They may be able to give you a name of someone in your area.
