How do I get these....

Finally got a glove box emblem for my 68 and need the little bushing/clip thingys that go into the holes in the door. The emblem posts slide into them. Where do I get these or does anybody have three of them?

A good, full service hardware store should have them.

Its not a nut!!!! the golve box door has "blind" holes. Can't access from the back. They push into the hole from the front and then the emblem pushes into them from the front as well. Anybody sell these things or have some on one of their spare doors? Thanks Dan

you could always use a dab of clear silicone on the back of the emblem posts....tape the emblem on till the silicone dries...and wahlah!...instant adhesion with no rattles.

I had a hard time getting those clippy things to hold. I used DS tape and It has held so far.

silicone should only be used on your engine gasket surfaces.. Use it on the paintable surfaces of your truck and you will get silicone invasion in the metal. This will cause your paint to fish eye when being applied. Bad news!! WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Yea, but you're a nut! LOL I got those on the 283 emblems on my '62. Try Wesco Autobody. they have lots of that stuff to put trim on from one side.
