Senior Skip Day...What a great day

well april 1st was our senior skip day... the night before (the 31) i had to camp out at the new spangles parking lot from 1030 pm -6 am.. first 100 customers got one free meal a week for one full year.. so thats why i did it... stayed awake the whole time, got my prize.. then came home and started working on my 72.. got my new radiator support in along with the condensor. radiator. fan shroud. all the new mounts. hoses. tranny cooler and lines. and battery tray.. and got to start it up and enjoy the engine noise been up 39 hours total..seems to be the best time to work on trucks haha ... just thought thought id share my lovely april 1...

Re: Senior Skip Day...What a great day

I have to give you credit. I wouldn't camp out for anything someone was "giving" away for free on April fools day. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be a joke and it sounds like you got a lot done.

Too true...

I'm glad to hear that you were awarded with your meal deal, I just hope you don't get tired of them at week 11.

And congrats on the upcoming graduation! Are you heading to college/trade school?

Re: Senior Skip Day...What a great day

Sounds like a pretty good deal with school. Is it in KS?

Just make sure your truck is up and running for the Midwest All Truck Nat's coming up in September.

McPherson College right down the road has a great auto restoration program. Is that where you are going?
