15x8 Rally wheels? Price glitch?

I found locally a full set of 15x8 rally wheels, specifically off an 84 c10 in excellent shape but with no tires, beauty rings or center caps for $40! Would this be some type of a price glitch or should I look closely for a damaged wheel? I thought these were worth a bit more?

I figured I'd buy them and put on a set of 255/70's I have for winter use. I will be running 235/60's for good weather use on my alloys and I doubt those would work well in snow.

What do you think?

without rings or caps? I would say $40-50 is about right. I have 2 sets of wheels with rings and caps I was thinking of selling, but if naked wheels go for $40 I will have to up my price.

What I meant to say... I will quote myself and correct since they took away the Edit option and more trouble than its worth to contact a mod to fix it.

From the looks of their condition, I would say that's a good deal. You will triple your expense by the time you get rings and caps (in not more) but I would still snag them.

BTW- Lets not turn this in to a "wanted to buy" as that was not the intent of the post.

Re: 15x8 Rally wheels? Price glitch?

Well I picked them up and they are in good shape as the photos showed. Funny, I went out to my truck to buy those sets of wheels and my RF Tire is flat. I was going to the tire shop next week anyways to swap over my 235/60/15 tires since I will soon be lowering the truck. Good thing it was flat in my driveway since the seller was about 1 hour away in the middle of no where!
