I'm needing a "Sierra Grande" badge for the right bed side.
If you get a decent one, PM me.

Re: found a 1972 gmc sierra grande...$400, is it a good buy

It's real simple, the truck will part for more than the 400 bucks...

Right off the top of my head...

The wheels will bring 100-150 since they are 5 lug steelies. Everyone wants those things, even more than rally wheels in some case.

An Edelbrock carb is gonna bring a minimum of 50 bucks, maybe 100

All the A/C brackets and power steering brackets should bring at least a 100

Power brake booster and brackets are gonna bring 60-100 bucks.

That's not even trying either. There's a lot of good stuff on there.

Re: found a 1972 gmc sierra grande...$400, is it a good buy

Okay. Here's the deal.

Buy it. If you can't get your $400 out of it, I'll refund the difference.
Anything over $400, you owe me 1/2.
You have to be honest about everything, tough.

Do this and you aren't out a penny!

girlfriend!? so thats where all the truck money is goin... Good find for cheap. What does the bedside look like on the driver's side of the shortbed in the neighbor's field? My driver's side has a decent dent at the rear. I am in Alabama. Coming up to TN in a few weeks.

Re: found a 1972 gmc sierra grande...$400, is it a good buy

first thing for no power to check is make sure you have the wire from the battery going to the power box on the front inside passenger fender. you won't have power unless it's hooked up. scored a big block longhorn for 240 bucks because it "didn't run" that way.

Re: found a 1972 gmc sierra grande...$400, is it a good buy

Grille alone could get you back half of what he's asking! I paid twice that amount for one I had to tow into my garage. Gotta start somewhere. Just depends on how much effort and PATIENCE you have to put in it. I'd jump on it...especially if it runs.
