Quadrajunk question...

Is there anywhere that I can find jetting info for a q-jet? The guy I bought my 'burb from was playing with jet sizes (he told me that), and he's got way too big of jets in it. Thing smokes almost as black as a turned up diesel! Well, not really, but I can tell it's running very rich.

I wouldn't quite call a carb that you can rework to flow almost 1100cfm (yes thats 1100) and still work on a stock motor junk.
But to answer your question try these sites:
http://www.73-87.com/garage/myqjet.htm
http://www.corvettefaq.com/greatest.asp
or get HP Books - Rochetter Carburetors by David Roe

Larry -- didn't mean to offend. I'd take one over a holley any day. In fact, it's what all four of my 67-72 use. Wouldn't have it any other way (except maybe fuel injection)!

Those links are great. That corvette site looks like it has a lot of info. Thanks!

Ditto on the carb. My q-jet leaks, pops and hisses. Did some research and found a company in Burbank, CA called BFIC carbs only. For under $200 they will rebuild one to near factory condition. Web site is www.carbsonly.com. They can have it back to you in under 5 days. Called em myself and next bonus check mine is going out.
