Wanted in DFW area: list of parts inside

Im in Ft Worth and looking for the following items for my beater.
  • stepside tailgate- something moderately straight that I can reskin if needed
  • short stepside right side step
  • stepside tailgate chains
  • straight paintable front 71-72 bumper

I'm not looking for super condition parts, just some moderately straight or straightenable stuff. I prefer local DFW area because I'm not looking to invest too much money in this stuff and shipping would likely kill the deal for me financially. Will trade for powdercoating work too if you'd prefer.

Kevin, I have a 69 SWB Stepside parts truck. Only thing is, I need to sell the whole truck. It's just a shell, no drivetrain, just rolling chassis and sheet metal. WIW. If interested let me know. Maybe we can trade PC work + some cash.

Kevin,... I have a NOS front bumper for a 71-72. (still in Gm black coating) I think it would cost a ton to ship though.

Is there any difference betweeen the 67-72 Stepside tailgates and chains than the 73-87? I am going to junk yards tomorrow I will keep an eye out.

Thanks,
Michael

Do you have a title for it ? Got a price in mind ?

I do think shipping would kill the deal. I need something pretty cheap for my beater truck.

Shane, how straight is it ? My current one is maybe 75 percent straight. I'm looking for something ugly and straight to clean up and powdercoat for my truck. Got a price in mind ?

Michael, for my purposes, I believe the tailgate and chains are the same. The letters on the gate might be different, I don't remember, but it doesn't matter to me.

I'm going to be working on your parts tomorrow all day. I have been trying to get to them. I finally finished up a job yesterday and yours is next.

It is at least 95% straight. I would like to get 40.00 for it

Re: Wanted in DFW area: list of parts inside

Well, I got a tailgate and chains from Primered69 today and bought a whole stepside truck from another member, so I'm fixed up on bed parts.

Shane, I am interested in the bumper. I will try and contact you later this week or this weekend.
