wiper and turn signals stopped working!
ok, well my truck is a wiring nightmare, i found 10 splices alone on the taillight wires going from the rear of the truck to the firewall on the cab..... horrid seeing that many household wire twisters together !!!.
i just recently had to install a flip switch to operate the backup lights instead since the switch on the column was bad.. now after doing that and installing a radio (which didnt splice into any wires, but had a ground and shorting problem for a little) the wipers and turn signals quit working.... what am i looking for to fix this... a fuse??? a wire i may have disconnected (i did cut the light green backup light wire from the colum switch that operates the backup lights normally, and connected it to an accesory power wire to a toggle switch so the backup lights can function properly. im not sure if this wire needs to be connected to the circuit there and somehow provides power to the turn signals and the wiper as well, but from the wiring diagrams i was looking at, it didnt provide power, it only received power and send it directly back to the tail lights.. so i have no clue as to why the turn signals and the wiper stopped working. help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

Re: wiper and turn signals stopped working!
ahhh...sounds like a nice electrical soup. Just take your time, trace everything through - you will find it it with patience. A test light/continuity tester may soon be your best friend. Good luck
