I seen a 1979 long box that was stripped and had MGT Special on it i talked to the old timer that had it from new it was clean and had 150k on it

rigon4, can you get any more info on this truck from the owner...and some better pictures...showing the entire truck, etc??
I have never heard of this package, but it is most likely a dealer/regional thing.

If it was a dealer special like Rusty said, maybe you could locate a dealer matching those letters? How much of the original owner's info/history do you have?

i saw the truck sitting at the local napa so i stop and looked at it and talked to the owner its a 250/th350 truck this winter was it first out side but not driven. then only thing that is not stock is tail pipe, front pads and rotors, and pinon seal. no dealers that match mgt
edit i told his i was a member here and he said he would try to find the site but he was not good with these things so look for new members and im going to napa and see if they can tell me his name he was going to take my name down because he was thinking of selling it
