Cooper Cobra G/T's?
Anyone on here run the Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires? I was gonna run the BF-G T/A's but I can get a set of these for a smokin deal. Curious of any feedback you all can give me.

Re: Cooper Cobra G/T's?
I'm sure they would be just fine.
I have BFG T/A's on my Dodge cop car and my Charger. They're really good tires, but they don't smoke up as much as other tires I've had.

I've got them on two trucks right now with well over 1 year each. Wearing like a champ.

I like the Cooper Cobra tires and have run them for years. Also look at Mastercraft tires, they are made by Cooper and are of the same quality and will last a good long time.

Re: Cooper Cobra G/T's?
I ran them too! Great tires. Never had a problem. They even lasted a few very good burn outs!
I just replaced all of my tires with BF Goodrich tires. It's night vs day when comparing traction. The BFs bark on shifts. The Cooper tires held better. WOT is bad on the BFs. The tires wear out faster than Coopers. One good burn out and the BFs look flat already. The BFs are not going to last long on my truck. I would go back to Coopers. I bought the tires as temporary tires. I plan on adding 17" soon. The tires will be removed and used on a trailer. If you can get a good deal, buy them!! |

I have them on my short box and I love them. they hold air pressure very well, good traction, and you just cant beat the raised white letter look.

I put a set on a '76 Elky. They wear well and have as good of traction as you can get in a stock El Camino. El Dorado tires are made by cooper too.
