Questions about blazer tops

I just picked up a top for my 70 blazer. The top has sliding tinted side windows.I was just wondering if anyone knew if this was a factory option and if anyone knows how much its worth.

Re: Questions about blazer tops

I have not seen them as an option in any of my dealer brochures. I'm fairly sure they were an aftermarket item. I've always wanted them. As far as worth, unsure. I had the Factory sliders on an 80 Blazer I used to have, it had wings to direct air flow. They were nice.

Man I'm jealous. I've been looking for a set of those windows of 7 years. I'm positive they are aftermarket. pretty rare too. Post some pictures up if you can. They are worth what ever some one will pay.

Re: Questions about blazer tops

I've rear sliding windows for sale in the past on ebay - usually in the $175 - $225 range.

Re: Questions about blazer tops

Blazin, Is your top a single or double wall. Just wondering what the sliders will fit, maybe both?

$200 is about the limit I would pay. I guess I need to watch ebay more

Re: Questions about blazer tops

I bought my K5 with the top already with the windows and really like them. this is a single wall.

By the way... the windows have a name printed on the corner of the glass of the company that made them but dont remember what it is ( I'll check when i get home) and a date stamp of 1975.
