square to round headlights

Searched around but can't find much.Thinking about switching out the square lights in my 80 to round ones. Are the headlight buckets the same? How bout the round headlight bezels?73-80 all the same or do I need 79-80 specific?

Re: square to round headlights

If your truck is currently an '80, and you intend to keep the lower moulding and grille, you are going to have to stick with the '79 bezels. Otherwise, you can swap everything to a different year. The headlight buckets are definately different but either will fit the radiator support.
The only difference in radiator supports in in the hood latch. '73-'76 had an "outside" latch.....'77-'80 had an "inside" (cable) latch.

Actually, the inside hood release was an option, T44 to be specific. My 77 has an outside, My 78 k10 has an inside and I think my 78 c10 has an outside. My 79 parts truck has a inside while the 79 driver has an outside.

Rollie
your gonna need 79-80 headlight bezels, the 73-78 didnt have the bezels covering the marker lights like 79-80 did.
