What size wheels and tires and backspacing would you advise running in a stock rear wheel well for a 81 C10 at the strip. Thanks so much.

8 inch with 4 inch back space with 28x10 slick or drag radial with the same section width, this is if your not going to widin the rear tubz any,if widen them 2.5 inches i would go with 10 inch wheel with 5.5 back space and run a 29.5 x 10.5 depending on your gear it really needs a minium of 373, hope this helps, it just a opinion,good luck vince.

[FONT="Arial Narrow"]My truck is factory ride height and on the back I was able to use wheel vintiques rally rims that were 10 inches wide and 15 inches tall with a 4.5 inch backspace. The tires were 295 55 15s. The tire is even with the bedside. It does not stick out. From factory height I could probably drop the truck 3 inches and still have plenty of room for those tires./FONT]
